Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-08-19
This policy forms part of the Going Once Terms. Organizations are responsible for the auctions they create, the people they admit, and the items and claims they publish. Users must also follow applicable law and the organization’s auction rules.
Prohibited items and transactions
Do not use Going Once to offer, promote, sell, or arrange:
- illegal, stolen, counterfeit, sanctioned, or embargoed goods;
- weapons, explosives, controlled substances, human remains, live animals, or regulated goods without every required licence;
- personal data, credentials, financial accounts, payment instruments, or documents used for identity theft or fraud;
- goods that infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, consumer-protection, environmental, or other third-party rights; or
- transactions designed to evade taxes, sanctions, export controls, payment rules, or reporting duties.
Auction integrity
- No shill bidding, collusion, bid manipulation, or false demand.
- No impersonation, shared accounts, or unauthorized proxy bidding.
- Lot descriptions, media, ownership, condition, quantity, pricing, delivery, and tax statements must be accurate and supportable.
- Do not alter, conceal, or pressure others to misstate auction, payment, delivery, or dispute evidence.
Platform and security abuse
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass access, rate, quota, verification, or tenant-isolation controls.
- Do not upload malware, deceptive payment links, or content intended to compromise another user or service.
- Do not use the service for spam, harassment, threats, discrimination, or unlawful surveillance.
Enforcement and reporting
We may contain an auction, restrict or suspend access, preserve relevant evidence, and cooperate with an organization or lawful authority when we reasonably believe this policy has been breached. Report suspected abuse to your organization administrator and TeamBlackBox through the contact on the Privacy Policy page.
